Online repair bookings
The Book a Repair form sends your name, contact details, optional address, device and fault details, condition, typed name and terms acceptance through FormSubmit to iwseapoint@gmail.com. FormSubmit processes the request to deliver it by email and states that it retains submission records for 30 days. Our email provider also processes and stores the received message. The website does not keep a separate booking database. We use these details to respond and arrange your repair. Please do not submit passwords, unlock codes, card details or unrelated sensitive information. Contact us with questions about your booking data.
Website enquiries
The WhatsApp enquiry forms prepare a message on your device and open WhatsApp. This website does not submit those form entries to an iWant Gadgets form database. You choose whether to send the message in WhatsApp. WhatsApp, your email provider and other services you choose to open handle information under their own policies.
Information used to help you
When you contact or transact with us, we may receive your contact details, device and repair information, order details and, where needed, delivery address. These details are used to respond to your enquiry, arrange the requested service or order, maintain necessary records and meet legal obligations.
Service providers & retention
Information needed to fulfil an order may be shared with the relevant courier or service provider. Records should be retained only as required for the purpose, warranty, accounting or other legal obligations. Contact us for information about a particular record or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
Website technology
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to measure page visits, WhatsApp and phone clicks, and successful repair request submissions. Google may process cookie identifiers and device information. We do not intentionally send customer form contents, contact details, device serial numbers or booking references to Analytics. Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. You can change your choice through Analytics preferences in the footer. Advertising signals are disabled. The hosting platform may process technical connection information and use security or access-related cookies. External links, including WhatsApp, social media and Google Maps, are governed by those providers’ policies.
Device data & documents
Back up device data before repairs. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive documents through enquiry forms or WhatsApp. Discuss handling requirements with us before sharing documents for printing or scanning.
Your rights
You may contact us to ask about access, correction, objections or deletion under applicable privacy law. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons. You may also raise concerns with the South African Information Regulator.
